So here’s the latest batch of dailies, suffering from some sketchy focus, some sketchy low light, but all in all an interesting set, and a nice counterpoint to our last set.

Your rushes make me sick with jealousy. We all keep yapping about image quality on this forum and sometimes forget the obvious: Your also a director…

And from the dynamic acting in these vids, clearly your doing a superb job!
Keep it up!

Noel that genuinely means a lot, the directing’s absolutely the thing. Anyone can now shoot with that kind of image at their disposal but I’m really hoping the brainy bit that links it all together is the bit I get to trade on at the end of the day. Kudos of course to the actors as well. You can talk all you luke but they’re the ones tfat have yo repeat and repeat.

I actually watched these and the previous week and it all looks fantastic. Good job on the performances too. See, THIS shows me more about what these cameras can do than all that ‘pretty stuff to look at’ footage combined. I need to see people interacting with one another… sideways glances, eyes that are hiding something, people moving through the frame… does moire or any of the other b.s. DETRACT from that significantly? If I’m engrossed, does it matter? I’ll even give the tech side of it a nod and say, yes, sometimes, I can’t help but notice. But otherwise, I’m just looking for a good story or character to follow… give me that and as an audience member I am happy. Kudos, ya limey!
